Located in the stunning Adelaide Hills, just 20 minutes drive from the city of Adelaide itself, Mount Lofty Summit is definitely a “must see” destination for any visitor to South Australia.

A third of a million people visit the attraction each year. That’s because the peak which rises 710 metre above sea level provides absolutely breathtaking panoramic views across the Adelaide Hills, encompassing Adelaide’s majestic city skyline and the coast. You can even see out to Kangaroo Island on a clear day.

The summit features awesome interactive touch screens with a wealth of information about Mount Lofty and surrounding attractions.  There’s a gift shop with some great locally handmade gifts and artwork.

You can also relax at the Summit Restaurant and Café with incredible floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view while sipping on an aromatic coffee or sampling some of the region’s fantastic local produce and fine South Australian wine.

From Mount Lofty Summit, launch expeditions out to some of the great things to do in the Adelaide Hills like the Cleland Wildlife Park, the Heysen Trail and Waterfall Gully.
