Flinders Chase National Park is an incredible protected area which is located on the western end of Kangaroo Island.

The park is roughly 177 kilometres west-south-west of Adelaide. Beautiful, rugged coastline. Many “Remarkable Rock” formations have formed over the years by the cut and pull of the elements.

Be sure to take time to explore the wonders of this National Park. You can capture some truly amazing photographs as the sun sets and the light plays off the strange and mesmerising coastal rock formations.

Enjoy the scenic view down towards Cape du Couedic and behold the wonder of Admirals Arch before watching the fur seals frolic in the waters.

There’s a great visitor centre where you can get detailed maps and info of all the great landmarks and lookouts in the Park as well as the great network of walking trails and boardwalks that enable you to get around.

After a morning of exploring Flinders Chase, you could go and check out the nearby Western Kangaroo Island Marine Park which also also offers plenty of things to do. You could drive down to explore the wrecks or join a fishing charter and brave the waves to see what fishing life is like.
