The Migration Museum in Adelaide

The Migration Museum is all about understanding the diverse history of Australia. Preserving and celebrating the amazing array of different human cultures,religions and identity that Adelaide has played host to over the years.

The museum tells these stories through individual works and powerful exhibitions and artefacts from the communities that make up the tapestry Adelaide.

You’ll find the museum in the city at 82 Kintore Avenue. There’s free guided tours that offer a wealth of fantastic information from the knowledgeable staff, available at 3pm on Sundays.

You can catch a range of exhibitions from around the country and with so many communities and cultures represented, you’re bound to run into some kind of colourful cultural festival.
